The Association membership discussed and recommended at the 2006 and 2007 annual conferences that the Board implement dues. These dues will help fund Association activities, such as the Gene Trotter Award, our mid-year and annual meetings, and other projects chosen by the Board to promote the Association. 
The Board’s current priority project is an updated web site that includes the Association’s Directory. The Directory will allow each member to update his or her entry through a password-protected program. Future projects may include continuing education programs at the annual conferences or mid-year meetings.
At the 2007 Conference meeting, the Board voted to implement a voluntary dues structure of twenty-five dollars ($25) annually for each member of the Association (graduate and spouse are one member).
